Eating Out
Normandy is haute-cuisine heaven for food lovers and visitors seeking authentic culinary experiences. It is well known for its superb gastronomy, and owes its most distinctive characteristic to the lush orchards and dairy herds of its agricultural heartland.

Auberge du Beau-Lieu
Le Fosse, Forges-les-Eaux (6 mins) Our nearest restaurant (about 5-7 minutes drive away, on the right just as you enter Forges), run by award-winning chef Patrick Rambelet. |

Domaine de Forges
Casino, Forges-les-Eaux (10 mins) There are 3 restaurants at the casino. They each have their own distinct decor, but they all share the same 4-star cuisine and service. |

Le Petit Forges
45 rue du Maréchal Leclerc, Forges Les Eaux (10 mins) This is a new restaurant which we haven't yet visited. Looking at the photographs on its website, the food seems to be very well presented, but it seems to be tucked away round the back of the supermarket car park, not the most scenic outlook! However, it gets very good reviews, so worth a try perhaps? Please let us have any feedback if you get there before we do... |

Le 235
29, rue de la République, Forges Les Eaux (10 mins) Another new restaurant, for which we have no website or photos, but it does get many good reviews on TripAdvisor and LinternauteRestaurants Please let us have any feedback if you get there before we do... |
Hostellerie du Vieux-Logis
Gerberoy (20 mins) Without doubt our favourite restaurant in the area, with a lovely garden in the summer. Their speciality is little individual table-top “barbecues” , where you cook your own meat or fish over a calvados flame. They also do a “Menu Sucre” – a five-course meal consisting only of desserts! A wonderful destination for a wonderful meal. And the added bonus is you get to stroll around the gorgeous village of Gerberoy... |

St-Saens Golf Club
St Saens, 30 Mins The photographs of this place are very deceptive. It is a gorgeous setting, and being a golf club you would think it was very formal and stuffy, but nothing could be further from the truth. Of course there is nothing stopping you from getting dressed up, but everyone is welcome, and we often pop in, casually dressed, for a meal. You can eat in the formal dining room or in the friendly bar, and in the summer you can eat outside on the sunny terrace overlooking the eighteenth hole. Highly recommended! |

Au Souper Fin
Frichemesnil (45 Mins) "The restaurant provides a superb range of classic French dishes with an innovative twist, well deserving its Michelin Star rating. Excellent wine list. " Tripadvisor, LinternauteRestaurants |
